Gibt es die ewige Liebe?
Was bedeutet "Für immer", wenn die Liebe seit Jahren zum Gewohnheitsrecht
verkam? Gibt es ein "Für immer" überhaupt? ...
Das Stück gewann im Juni 2004 den 1. Preis beim "Agones Neon Dimiurgon" Theater-Festival in Athen. Ein Kampf zwischen Mann und Frau, zwischen Liebe und Hass. Einfach und real. Der Zuschauer wird auf eine Gefühlsachterbahn geschleudert, bei der die Protagonisten die Fallhöhen vorgeben.
4ever ist keineswegs als ein schweres Drama zu verstehen, sondern als eine Momentaufnahme, die bei aller Ernsthaftigkeit ihren Humor nicht verbergen kann. Wie diesen beiden Menschen ergeht es unendlich vielen Paaren, überall auf der Welt. Es ist wie ein bizarrer ekstatischer Beischlaf.

offener Brief des Autoren George Iliopoulos (09.04.2005):
To Tim Riedel I write this letter to express my enthusiasm for the performance
of my play 4Ever that you directed in Wiesbaden.
I have seen my play on stage in Greece and in London but your performance
was really something different. It was like I saw my play first time.
It combines all the elements that I believe that theatre needs today. Simplicity,
essence, dedication, truth and honesty. I saw two actors on the stage that
didn´t try to pretend something - but they tried to understand what´s going
on. You directed the play and you found a way to communicate it with the audience.
You searched and you found all the secret tunnels under the lines - and you
put them on stage without fear. You weren´t afraid of the play (the illness
of the modern directors) you found the essence and you built a solid base
for the actors. That´s why the performance was so powerful. This is why the
audience took so strong vibes from it. I believe in your talent and in the
work of your team and I give you the permission to do whatever you want with
my plays because I´m sure that you are an artist that believes in the theatre.
